1. My car was towed as a reult of a motor vehicle stop. Does AAA cover the tow?
AAA will not cover tows resulting in a criminal offense. Such offenses include unlicensed/suspended operation of a motor vehicle; failure to have insurance and operating under the influence. For a full list of non-compliant tows, contact your AAA representative or visit AAA.com.
2. There is a hold on my vehicle from a police department. What does this mean and what do I do?
When your vehicle has a "hold" on it, it could be for a number of reasons. The most common reason is that your vehicle may be needed by the police department for further investigations. To see why your vehicle has a hold on it, contact the police department that has placed the hold.
